Product Description
13" scale figure based on a character appearing in this summer's featue film.

Amazon.com Product Description
The Hasbro Transformers Ultimate Bumblebee Figure is the premium movie-based Transformers toy on the market. Standing more than 14 inches tall, this action figure is more than deserving of the title "Ultimate." With his sleek design, his battle and conversation sounds, and his advanced animatronics system, Ultimate Bumblebee is one of the most fully featured action figures you'll ever find.

The Bumblebee fully featured action figure delivers animatronics and sounds. View larger. View Side.

Bumblebee's car form is as detailed and well built as any model car. View larger. View Side.
Two Awesome Modes
Recommended for ages five and up, Ultimate Bumblebee is perfect for toy collectors and kids alike. Initially, Ultimate Bumblebee appears as a sleek 2008 Camaro. With its vivid yellow finish and racing stripes, Ultimate Bumblebee's car form is as detailed and well built as any model car and would be a perfect addition to a cabinet or dresser top. The car is able to roll freely on carpet and hard surfaces alike.

However, like all Transformers, there is more to Ultimate Bumblebee's Camaro form than meets the eye. When it is time for him to come out of disguise and confront his enemies, he can transform into a massive, powerful robot. Equipped with a plasma cannon, he is more than prepared to defend your local Autobot from Decepticon attacks.

With a few minor adjustments, kids can transform Ultimate Bumblebee seamlessly between his robot and his vehicle mode. His robot mode stands an impressive 14 inches, and is fully articulated, meaning that kids can adjust him into any pose. He is also incredibly detailed -- likely one of the most attractive action figures your aspiring heros will ever get their hands on.

Advanced Animatronics and Sounds
Ultimate Bumblebee features an advanced animatronic design, which means he can move and animate himself when in robot mode. With the touch of a button, he'll burst into motion. His head moves expressively from side to side, and his arms and wings both move up and down. He can even aim his plasma cannon and fire off his missile.

Perhaps most impressively, he has full sound detection capabilities. He will respond to noises by turning and making sounds of his own. In addition to his animatronics and motion, Ultimate Bumblebee can also make a variety of exciting sounds. This ever-vigilant Autobot has 17 different heroic conversation phrases, such as "Let's roll out!" and "Take that, Decepticon!" He also makes battle sounds -- kids will hear the firing of his plasma cannon and the whirring, crushing sound of his movements. He'll even boogie as he plays Devo's popular song, "Whip It."

About Transformers
The Transformers began as a Hasbro toy line back in 1983, featuring toy vehicles that could transform into robots. The toys soon inspired an entire universe of fictional story lines, pitting the two factions of Transformers -- the heroic Autobots and the evil Decepticons -- against one another. A live-action movie based on the Transformers was released in 2007 and has continued the toy line's extreme popularity. With toys such as the Ultimate Bumblebee Figure, kids can bring home the struggle between the Autobots and Decepticons.

5 out of 5 stars Good Times!!!!   November 11, 2008
I really enjoy this Bumblebee. I appreciate challenge so I transform it without using the instructions; takes me about 20 minutes. Overall it's good quality although the doors don't always seem to close properly. I don't recommend it for children, though. The lights and sounds are entertaining and amusing however it's really more of an item that should be displayed. In my opinion, it's too expensive to have it smashed and crashed by kids.

4 out of 5 stars Great   October 24, 2008
I bought this toy for my son and it is great. He loves it. Shipping was timely and the toy was well packed. The toy is well made and it is quite hefty in weight.

2 out of 5 stars Reminder to Buy From Retail Stores   October 22, 2008
I bought this as a gift. The "try me" sound button did not work. I could not replace the battery without destroying the box. I sent an e-mail to Amazon asking if I can send back the toy if replacing the battery didn't solve the issue. They sent me a response on their return process that seems more complex than the Wall Street Bail Out Plan. Below is Amazon's response (at least they acknowledge their lack of service, would be better if they can improve it)-

"Thank you for writing to us at Amazon.com.

4 out of 5 stars Cool Bumblebee   October 8, 2008
Had made a bet with my nephew, I lost. His reward, Bumblebee.
I didn't know where to start looking, did a search, and found it on Amazon. The price was great, shipping was fast and somewhat trackable. The toy itself is pretty cool. All in all, my first time with Amazon, and I was quite pleased.

5 out of 5 stars Gotta Have It!   September 26, 2008
When I got this for Christmas I almost fainted. This was my number 1 item. It took me over an hour to get it in car mode (because some of the joints weren't locked in properly when I tried). I saw a video of how to transform it to both modes on a video on Hasbro's website when it first came out. I like the fact that when you turn him on and you let him stand he will say "hello?" as if nobody was there then he'll say "anybody there?" then he'll go "hel-lo?". He is very cool but quite heavy and kinda hard to stand up once you get him into robot mode. I usually stand this guy up on my nightstand next to my clock and I sometimes imagine I'm talking to the guy (so what a 13 year old can't have an imagination?). So I highly recomend this thing to ANY Transformers fan.

More Images of TF :Animated Activator Megatron
New images of the soon to be released Transformers: Animated Activator Megatron have been posted on tf08.net.

The images show both robot and vehicle mode (Earth Helicopter). The image of the robot mode shows that Megatron has decent articulation, but unlike the Leader Class version, his cannon cannot be attached to his forearm.

Seibertron.com Reviews Soon To Be Released Glu Mobile 'Tranformers: G1 Awakening' Game
Thanks to staff member Stormrider, I was given the chance to make contact with a member of Glu mobile;#x2019;s PR staff, and was able to play a demo of the soon to be released ;#x2018;Transformers: G1 Awakening;#x2019; game for cellular phones. Glu Mobile was very kind and even sent me a compatible phone loaded with the game to play, as they do not currently have a version available for the iPhone.

I was able to spend about a week with the game, wasting many precious hours, staying up until the wee early hours of the morning as I played the addicting game, and tried to experience as much of it as I could before I had to send the demo back....

New pics: Elite Guard Bumblebee And Sentinel Prime!
A couple of TF fans have decided to share a bit more with the TF community.

First off we have Stealth, err, Goldbug... I mean ELITE GUARD BUMBLEBEE by Tamo536. Straight up repaint of the Original Animated Bumblebee, but according to the reviewer the 'stingers' are now able to better fit into the arms...

Elite Guard Bumblebee Review

And also a huge picture montage courtesy of the Japanese Transformers Image Board showing Sentinel in package, with other Elite Guard members, and with the Headmaster unit firmly placed on his shoulders.

Everybody should want to get Sentinel as soon as they can...
