3 out of 5 stars TF enthusiast   March 13, 2006
Blah! Ick! Bleh! I liked Override in pictures and from a distance, but once I got my hands on her I was rather disappointed. The spring loaded transformation makes her very flimsy.

The springs don't hold up so well; in vehicle mode you have to handle her gently or she'll begin her transformation before you're ready & in her robot form trying to pose her is like building a house of cards. The detachable engine riffle (inspired by the Alternators line) is too heavy for her to hold up in a pose so she likes to shot the ground-a lot.

The best feature is the head design, which seems to be a nod to Gundam styling.

For those of you inflicted with children: This was designed with them in mind, the springs take care of 80% of the transformation. The fact that the springs aren't very sturdy would suggest Override may not hold up to the type of senseless abuse a child would visit on this figure.

For Collectors: I'd pass on this one, it's not great. It's pretty to look at from a distance, but no touching or a surprise attempted transformation may nip your fingers. This is more for the "Gotta collect'em all" types.

4 out of 5 stars Female Speedster   October 18, 2005

Override is a female Cybertron Transformer that changes from robot to a sleek, futuristic vehicle. She is the leader of the Speed Planet and one of the fastest transformers on the ground. She converts from vehicle mode to robot with the Cyberton Speed Key and the key also is used in vehicle mode to unlock her shock blasters. The vehicle mode is has a very aero-dynamic look and I like the color scheme of Override. She is one of the more Anime-looking transformers. The transforming difficulty is about low to medium.

4 out of 5 stars Speed Planet leader Override   August 28, 2005

Override is a very unique transformer. She comes with a gold outlined speed planet key, which designates her as the leader of Speed planet.
Vehicle Mode: Override's vehicle mode is one of the better and more interesting of the Cybertron transformers. It has a very fast and sleek look to it, and the robot mode is very well hidden.
Transformation: This is where my complaint with the toy comes in. Over half of the transformation is spring loaded. Pushing one thing does most of the transforming for you. This results in the vehicle mode accidentally transforming and not staying together the best at times.
Robot Mode: This mode is cool. The planet key folds out two blasters on the detachable gun. Poseability is great, only without turning at the head or waist.
A great toy, and even with the springs, it's not too much of a problem. One of Hasbro's better deluxe Transformers.

More Images of TF :Animated Activator Megatron
New images of the soon to be released Transformers: Animated Activator Megatron have been posted on tf08.net.

The images show both robot and vehicle mode (Earth Helicopter). The image of the robot mode shows that Megatron has decent articulation, but unlike the Leader Class version, his cannon cannot be attached to his forearm.

Seibertron.com Reviews Soon To Be Released Glu Mobile 'Tranformers: G1 Awakening' Game
Thanks to staff member Stormrider, I was given the chance to make contact with a member of Glu mobile;#x2019;s PR staff, and was able to play a demo of the soon to be released ;#x2018;Transformers: G1 Awakening;#x2019; game for cellular phones. Glu Mobile was very kind and even sent me a compatible phone loaded with the game to play, as they do not currently have a version available for the iPhone.

I was able to spend about a week with the game, wasting many precious hours, staying up until the wee early hours of the morning as I played the addicting game, and tried to experience as much of it as I could before I had to send the demo back....

A couple of TF fans have decided to share a bit more with the TF community.

First off we have Stealth, err, Goldbug... I mean ELITE GUARD BUMBLEBEE by Tamo536. Straight up repaint of the Original Animated Bumblebee, but according to the reviewer the 'stingers' are now able to better fit into the arms...

And also a huge picture montage courtesy of the Japanese Transformers Image Board showing Sentinel in package, with other Elite Guard members, and with the Headmaster unit firmly placed on his shoulders.

Everybody should want to get Sentinel as soon as they can...
