5 out of 5 stars Scourge Is The Best   January 5, 2006

I got Scourge for Christmas he was really cool and I love his beast mode.If you keep the cyber planet key in scourge at all times it is very hard to lose.Or just put it in most of the way for that only a centimeter is left or very thin strip.Scourge is the collest you should get him!

4 out of 5 stars SCOURGE ... THE EVIL ONE!   December 10, 2005
I am a 6 year old boy. I got Scourge for my birthday last October. He is super powerful. He turns into a dragon. Scourge always frustrates me because his tail always falls off. Also, the different colored cyberkeys don't fit in him. You need to use only the Jungle Planet cyberkeys.

4 out of 5 stars Return of the Dragon   October 4, 2005
The dragon returns to Transformers with a vengence with Jungle Planet's ultimate warlord, Scourge. It's been three years since the last dragon Transformer and Scourge makes the wait worth while.

Like his more recent dragon-moded predecessors, Scourge is a member of the villian's, though you'll have to activate this figure's cyber-key feature to see his insignias. He has an impressive beast mode, colored with a mix of orange, yellow, red, brown, and purple that works surprisingly well. You'd hate to see this guy stomping towards you in the rainforests. A button in his back activates his "dragon scream" and lights up his eyes and the inside of his mouth, giving Scourge the impressions that he's gearing up for a fiery blast.

Trasformation to robot mode is fairly simple, and one might not even need the instructions to do so. In robot mode, Scourge looks the part of a vicious warlord of a hostile planet. The tail becomes a battle ax in this form, and the "dragon-scream" feature still works. Close scrutiny of the head will reveal a similarity with the various forms of BW Megatron; Scourge even has the tusks of the crocodile variant at the beginning of BW.

Scourge comes with a green and gold leafed Jungle cyber key with which to activate his primary feature. Stick the key into the small port in his back, just behind the sound button, and two additional dragon heads will flip out from both sides of the figure's head. In addition, you'll hear the classic transformation sound effect that goes back to G1. This feature is present in both forms, tough you may want to keep Scourge in his dragon mode to effectively store the key in either the port or his chest.

There are several cons to this figure, several of which have been touched on by others. His simplistic transformation for an ultra is one; Scourge essentially "rears up". Another is his relative lack of articulation. These are mostly concentrated in the limbs. The main beast head "nods" slighty, the mouth opens and closes, and the tail kinda "flaps" up and down. The neck can go up and down, mostly due to how the figure transforms, and is not nearly as articulates as the TM2 and RID Megatrons. He's got less articulation in robot mode; again concentrated in the arms and legs. The lack of wrist motion has been touched on by other reviewers.

Despite the flaws, Scourge is a excellent figure for your collection.

More Images of TF :Animated Activator Megatron
New images of the soon to be released Transformers: Animated Activator Megatron have been posted on tf08.net.

The images show both robot and vehicle mode (Earth Helicopter). The image of the robot mode shows that Megatron has decent articulation, but unlike the Leader Class version, his cannon cannot be attached to his forearm.

Seibertron.com Reviews Soon To Be Released Glu Mobile 'Tranformers: G1 Awakening' Game
Thanks to staff member Stormrider, I was given the chance to make contact with a member of Glu mobile;#x2019;s PR staff, and was able to play a demo of the soon to be released ;#x2018;Transformers: G1 Awakening;#x2019; game for cellular phones. Glu Mobile was very kind and even sent me a compatible phone loaded with the game to play, as they do not currently have a version available for the iPhone.

I was able to spend about a week with the game, wasting many precious hours, staying up until the wee early hours of the morning as I played the addicting game, and tried to experience as much of it as I could before I had to send the demo back....

First off we have Stealth, err, Goldbug... I mean ELITE GUARD BUMBLEBEE by Tamo536. Straight up repaint of the Original Animated Bumblebee, but according to the reviewer the 'stingers' are now able to better fit into the arms...

Everybody should want to get Sentinel as soon as they can...
