Product Description Transformers Movie Deluxe Barricade features spring-loaded punch-attack action and a deception frenzy figure that ejects from its chest in robot mode. This is one awesome figure for your collection. The greatest thrill in his life knows people trust him because of the human decorations on his door panels. The look of betrayal they get when they realize what theyre dealing with is as sweet as candy. The only thing he likes better is chasing down auto bots and breaking them into pieces with his powerful arms and crushing, hydraulic hands.
lame new DecepticonOctober 8, 2008 I had many original Transformers in the 1980's, sadly most of them have been lost, ruined, or stolen over the years. My first was the police car Autobot Prowl, back when I naively believed the propaganda that all cops were good. That may be what attracted me to Barricade, an evil police car, Michael Bay himself loved this. I found Barricade a bit more difficult to transform without looking at the instructions, than many original Transformers were. Barricade has ridiculous arms, way too long in the shoulders, the left arm spring punch is silly and annoying as it can interfere with transformation, and it has no guns or weapons at all. The arms and feet can be snapped off rather too easily, but they also snap right back into place easily, some designer was clever here! The connector between chest and abdomen is rickety at best. I cannot find the Decepticon symbol anywhere on Frenzy, the symbols on Barricade are very small and inside his 2 police shields. Kinda stupid for a Transformer to display his symbols while in disguised mode. Frenzy does come out of a well-hidden spot on Barricade's front grill, looks nothing like the original Frenzy that came out of Soundwave, does not transform into a cassette (like the classic Frenzy) nor a tape deck (like the new Frenzy). This Frenzy is a TransfoLDer, its head and legs just fold over onto its chest, and the feet are stuck together in one piece. I think Bumblebee is a much better action figure than Barricade.
Barricade not as good as in the movie!!May 2, 2008 Before anything else I say, I want to make it clear that I love the character Barricade and its many incarnations. I loved him in the movie as he was one of my favorite characters and then him being a Saleen Mustang just boosted that even higher!! Now for the toy all though cool looking in car mode all the detail is there once he turns into robot mode he isnt as impressive. I mean the overall look is there but compared to the other Transformers from the movie line he is probably the simplest looking one. To turn him from car to robot and back again is a very unpleasant task and then the fact that you get a feeling you might break something snapping everything back is unsettling. i personally dont like the spring loaded punch, for one thing it seems like it might break while putting the arm back, and too it looks awkward one its done. So again great character, mediocre toy, but if you absolutely just want to have Barricade for your collection a must buy.
What a cool BAD BOY Transformer!February 10, 2008 The transformer movie, being much better than I expected, caught my son's interest and it has been 24/7 Transformers! Barricade was hard to find so I decided to look on Amazon. It was pricier than the other Transformers at Target etc, for the same size, but no one else had Barricade. The detail is great. I personally love the inscription on the side of the vehicle: "to imprison and enslave" right off the movie vehicle! Wish they made a large size Barricade!
Barricade DecepticonJanuary 10, 2008 This is yet another awesome Transformer. Great looking and it's like it came straight out of the movie. The only thing I have against it is that it is a pretty flimsy toy, however the foot that popped of popped right back on. Do not by it if you have a child that is under 8. Most of the Transformers only an adult will be able to transform.
I grew up with TransformersDecember 15, 2007 I grew up with the original Transformers back in the 80's. I had fond moments of playing/transforming them with my friends. Every kid had one. I miss those days. luckily enough Hasbro has come out with this new gen. Along with an awesome movie. It doesn't matter what a parent thinks of a toy. It's growing up with the idea of these possibilities. It matters to the child. These are the moments he/she will remember for the rest of their life. Trust me.

Video Review of City Commander Upgrade Resident Transformer reviewer Peaugh has posted a nice, detailed review of the recently released City Commander upgrade set created for the Classics Universe Ultra Magnus figure.
The video goes in the great step by step detail on how to convert and attach the new addition along with nice video angles showing off the impressive attachments.
The images show both robot and vehicle mode (Earth Helicopter). The image of the robot mode shows that Megatron has decent articulation, but unlike the Leader Class version, his cannon cannot be attached to his forearm.

Seibertron.com Reviews Soon To Be Released Glu Mobile 'Tranformers: G1 Awakening' Game Thanks to staff member Stormrider, I was given the chance to make contact with a member of Glu mobile;#x2019;s PR staff, and was able to play a demo of the soon to be released ;#x2018;Transformers: G1 Awakening;#x2019; game for cellular phones. Glu Mobile was very kind and even sent me a compatible phone loaded with the game to play, as they do not currently have a version available for the iPhone.
I was able to spend about a week with the game, wasting many precious hours, staying up until the wee early hours of the morning as I played the addicting game, and tried to experience as much of it as I could before I had to send the demo back....
First off we have Stealth, err, Goldbug... I mean ELITE GUARD BUMBLEBEE by Tamo536. Straight up repaint of the Original Animated Bumblebee, but according to the reviewer the 'stingers' are now able to better fit into the arms...
And also a huge picture montage courtesy of the Japanese Transformers Image Board showing Sentinel in package, with other Elite Guard members, and with the Headmaster unit firmly placed on his shoulders.
Everybody should want to get Sentinel as soon as they can...
