Product Description Brawlas heavily armored tank mode is armed with side-mounted guns and projectile-firing turret gun. His squat, angular robot mode gives him the vague look of a Vehicon; Brawlas right arm serves as the mount for the turret gun, and his left arm is equipped with gauntlet-mounted blades. Brawlas articulation is very decent, although he has shallow pegs at the juncture points of his arms, so be gentle with Brawl and frequently bolster him with soul-nourishing affirmations. Brawlas tech specs are as follows: Strength 8, Intelligence 3, Speed 3, Endurance 9, Rank 5, Courage 9, Fireblast 9, Skill 3. Brawl seems to share in the general malcontent status of his fellow Decepticons. Brawl is constantly overwhelmed by a nearly mindless sense of rage---a condition that can be sublimated only by tumultuous violence and the destruction of any available Autobot adversary.
I love Brawl, but this one's kinda hard to PLAY withJune 23, 2008 Most reviews will tell you the same I am about to. His stupid arms WILL NOT STAY PUT. he really is an excellent figure otherwise, though the issue with his arms put a ridiculous hindrance on the whole value of him. You get him transformed the first time, really ingenious how his arms fold into the turret, but in the end you go to attach them and they just, well nothing.. The point where the Shoulder is has a peg that should fit into a space on his torso where you'd expect, looks simple enough, but really too simple. No locking or snapping or trapping of the piece means nothing much at all is holding his arms from just falling to the sides. Even if your just trying carefully to pose him, you have to hold his shoulders in place if you are touching his arms at all. This IS a big problem, but I was still a big enough fan of brawl to get this one, he IS really cool aside that. Just sad, if they'd addressed that before releasing him, he would have been the best in his class for the Decepticons. I do suggest fans of brawl check out his Leader Class, THAT one is awesome. If you own only one version of Brawl, go with Leader Class.
Great "Automorph" part! ... But Those Stupid Arms!June 10, 2008 Brawl is probably at least worth checking out. While the tank and robot both look great and the automorph is exceptional, the arms don't clip in very well (frustratingly so) and the transformation is more complex than it would appear (not too frustrating).
I find most of my fun in Transformers in the actual transformation, and by looking at brawl initially I just expected it to be a pretty standard "The tank extends legs, the front folds out, and arms pop out of somewhere". What I got was something a bit more complicated - but by no means frustratingly so - with the same cool but uncomplicated-looking result. If the engineers behind this spent so much time designing such a transformation, couldn't they make the result a little more interesting?
Before I get to the arms, my favorite part is by far the "Automorph technology". GENERALLY, I think these are pretty dumb since they often make the bots harder to transform (Iced Megatron) and yield no cool effect (I broke my Bumblebee 'cause Automorph was not very responsive). Brawl is a HUGE exception to this. When the chest flips down, the head flips up and the treads fold up on either side, all in one fluid motion thanks to gears in the chest; I feel this definitely embodies what automorph is about, since it capitalizes on a step of the transformation anyway, and it looks really cool when you do it (you can even look closely to see how the gears work)!
*Sigh*... Now the worst bit: the shoulders do not clip in very well if at all. There is a place for little bits on the shoulders to "clip" into the chest bit, but they immediately fall back out again since there is no pressure to keep them in. I have improvised slightly with the flaps on the back to try to keep them in, but it means moving the arms at all takes care, and if you have kids don't be surprised if you're asked to put them back in place every 5 seconds.
Overall I am happy with Brawl. He looks cooler than a lot of the other Transformers out there in both modes, which - along with automorph - helps make up for the bad shoulder design and the unnecessarily long transformation.
Brawl is a brawl of fun!April 27, 2008 Brawl's unique transformation style, awesome rotating turrets, and long range cannon blasts make Brawl a very, very fun toy to play with! Brawl has an amazing blast that shoots at least three feet. He is very durable and detailed and a blast for anyone to play with - young and old! Brawl has an easy Transformation, yet both his robot and vehicle mode are of high quality. The only problem with Brawl (and it is a common Transformer flaw) is his shoulder socket. It is very hard to lock into place. i have not been able to actually keep them there yet. I would very very highly recommend this Transformer to absolutely anyone.
Prepare to spend lots of time on this for your childJanuary 14, 2008 Transformers - big hit since the movie - but they are tough and tedious to transform. Takes an engineering degree. Kids love playing with them but they want them transformed all the time and that is not quality time with the kids.
BrawlDecember 28, 2007 Another great transformer toy. This one will last a little conger thanthe rest as few parts fall off regularly.
The images show both robot and vehicle mode (Earth Helicopter). The image of the robot mode shows that Megatron has decent articulation, but unlike the Leader Class version, his cannon cannot be attached to his forearm.

Seibertron.com Reviews Soon To Be Released Glu Mobile 'Tranformers: G1 Awakening' Game Thanks to staff member Stormrider, I was given the chance to make contact with a member of Glu mobile;#x2019;s PR staff, and was able to play a demo of the soon to be released ;#x2018;Transformers: G1 Awakening;#x2019; game for cellular phones. Glu Mobile was very kind and even sent me a compatible phone loaded with the game to play, as they do not currently have a version available for the iPhone.
I was able to spend about a week with the game, wasting many precious hours, staying up until the wee early hours of the morning as I played the addicting game, and tried to experience as much of it as I could before I had to send the demo back....
First off we have Stealth, err, Goldbug... I mean ELITE GUARD BUMBLEBEE by Tamo536. Straight up repaint of the Original Animated Bumblebee, but according to the reviewer the 'stingers' are now able to better fit into the arms...
And also a huge picture montage courtesy of the Japanese Transformers Image Board showing Sentinel in package, with other Elite Guard members, and with the Headmaster unit firmly placed on his shoulders.
Everybody should want to get Sentinel as soon as they can...
"Move bots or you'll have to do more transform ups!!!"
