5 out of 5 stars Birthday present for 6 yr old.   August 19, 2008
It was a great present and just what he wanted. It made in with a week to spare. Thanks!

5 out of 5 stars Tremendous Play Value   February 26, 2008
OK, so Transformers are sometimes a little difficult to manipulate and a piece pops off that only dad can manage to get back on. BUT, when I compare that to the countless hours my son spends playing with them indoors and out, setting up battles with all the characters, joining them in with his Hot Wheels, Lego Blocks and Lionel Trains, providing dialogue as he directs the action, they offer tremendous play value. Since he got them at Christmas, his video game consoles including the Wii, have taken a big back seat to the kind of play I think is far more valuable. As for the exact likeness, my kid loves the cartoon and has no problem with the toys not being EXACTLY like those on the show.

5 out of 5 stars Creative and Different - worth the TEN bucks   February 24, 2008
First of all, $22?? I just grabbed this at Wal Mart for $10. 10 should be the price of most transformers that are in production, 20 for some larger ones (Rachet, etc.) and 40 for the humongous Optimus, not all this 20, 40, 70 stuff. Moving on...

I just picked up bonecrusher today with hesitation, since he looks kinda strange from the pictures I've seen. However I opened him up and was compelled by the original transformation. It's not that easy the first time, since there are a couple flaps to click open first. Once he's done he's one of the few transformers I've ever had to really feel like a truck, then feel like a robot, rather than feeling like a robot made out of a car. A lot of his robot parts are hidden within the truck mode, but by looking at the robot it's really hard to tell that it was once a truck. That feeling on top of an interesting and original transformation process, Bonecrusher makes a great toy.

I have not had it long enough to experience any durability issues.

3 out of 5 stars Nice but doesn't have an appropiate size!   January 27, 2008
In comparison with other Transformers toys, this one is very small. In the movie, fight between Optimus Prime and Bonecrusher looks espectacular, we see a large decepticon almost the same size like Optimus. But, in the toy version, it's very small...looks like a Bonecrusher Junior...

4 out of 5 stars Great, smaller Transformer   January 22, 2008
My almost-5-year-old just bought Bonecrusher with some of his Christmas money and on the first day he got it, the shovel/blade attachment popped off. After about 10-15 times of mom popping it back on only to come right back off, I told him he was just going to have to think of them as two separate toys because he was getting pretty sad about a broken toy! A few days later, he announced to me that that piece was actually Bonecrusher's "minicon"! What a great imagination and ability to roll with the indignities of poor construction.
This is his and my favorite Transformer we've seen/bought yet. It is small and yet has a pretty complicated Transformation process--he sat down and successfully Transformed it right away and hasn't had any difficulties, but is very engaged in the process. He is a VERY mechanical little guy so this works great for him, but I doubt I would be able to Transform it at all! Except for the one piece that won't stay on, there haven't been any other pieces come loose or pop off after nearly two weeks of very steady use. Overall, I think this is a good little Transformer to have for his age range.

More Images of TF :Animated Activator Megatron
New images of the soon to be released Transformers: Animated Activator Megatron have been posted on tf08.net.

The images show both robot and vehicle mode (Earth Helicopter). The image of the robot mode shows that Megatron has decent articulation, but unlike the Leader Class version, his cannon cannot be attached to his forearm.

Seibertron.com Reviews Soon To Be Released Glu Mobile 'Tranformers: G1 Awakening' Game
Thanks to staff member Stormrider, I was given the chance to make contact with a member of Glu mobile;#x2019;s PR staff, and was able to play a demo of the soon to be released ;#x2018;Transformers: G1 Awakening;#x2019; game for cellular phones. Glu Mobile was very kind and even sent me a compatible phone loaded with the game to play, as they do not currently have a version available for the iPhone.

I was able to spend about a week with the game, wasting many precious hours, staying up until the wee early hours of the morning as I played the addicting game, and tried to experience as much of it as I could before I had to send the demo back....

New pics: Elite Guard Bumblebee And Sentinel Prime!
A couple of TF fans have decided to share a bit more with the TF community.

First off we have Stealth, err, Goldbug... I mean ELITE GUARD BUMBLEBEE by Tamo536. Straight up repaint of the Original Animated Bumblebee, but according to the reviewer the 'stingers' are now able to better fit into the arms...

And also a huge picture montage courtesy of the Japanese Transformers Image Board showing Sentinel in package, with other Elite Guard members, and with the Headmaster unit firmly placed on his shoulders.

Everybody should want to get Sentinel as soon as they can...
