Well-made figureAugust 6, 2007 This is a surprisingly solid figure for a Transformer. Often Transformers can be flimsy because they're full of moving parts, but this stands well on a desk even after you've transformed the heck out of it. Rodimus' arm cannon accessory is cool and integrates into the vehicle as a jet engine thingy, but it's still going to get lost after a while. These things happen!
And you'll die trying just like Megatron!April 13, 2007 I'm one of the weirdos that liked Rodimus Prime. His character had depth, arguably the most in all of G1 next to Star Scream. So I had to buy this figure. Excellent. Transformation is very smooth. Acurate alt mode and robot mode. Love it. Definitely worth the $10 it'll cost you in a retail store. Look out in the wild first.
A good Hot Rod!January 26, 2007 This Hot Rod does justice to his name, energon series he was a truck! In armada he was Hot Shot, a yellow car....but this is the true Hot Rod..all G1 style right down to the flames and the saw exchanging hand!!
Second best From teh new line !January 18, 2007 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
After getting both the star scream and the rodimus , and seeing the others on shelves , I'd ahve to say that the rodimus is the second most accurate to his cartoon form.
His cor form is dead on accurate to teh cartoons, one issue i avhe with this toy si that the head could have been larger on teh robot mode as wella sthe fact his chest seems higher up than his head, wich detracts from his accuracy. other that that the head , and the toy in both modes are very well detailed and articulate. i never owned teh original hod rod or rodimus prime toys so i can't really compare his transforming to those lines, but as a general rule his is a bit complicated for change i would definitely not recomend him for 5 year olds, maybe 7 or 8 eyar olds but i think hasbro shot low with this line because i ehar some fot eh others are a bit easy to change and are more like "shell-formers" tahn good ol' transformers :P, another peeve i have with this is that hasbro opted to use the name rodimus instead of hot rod, he wasnt calle3d rodimus until he had become teh new autobot leader at the end of the movie when he took the full name rodimus prime, but i' am not rating the toy on it''s name , this is jsut a tiny thing i supsoe doesnt matter much given that technically both names can be used for him.
Hot Rod looks great!January 12, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This renditionof Hot Rod (also known as Rodimus) is one of the gems of the Transformers: Classics toyline.
This toy is suprisingly solid in both forms and the attention to detail and quality is impressive. His car mode looks most like his G1 cartoon/movie version than any of the other Classics Transformers except perhaps Starscream.
I especially like the way his gun turns into a jet engine (like the one on the Batmobile) for the rear of the car in car mode. One of the worst things about the original transformers was keeping track of their accessories, but with this latest line of toys the weapons are usually integrated into the vehicle mode somehow. This is one of the best examples of that integration.
the only thing I could really find to nitpick about this toy is the lack of an Autobot symbol on the hood, but that isn't nearly enough to keep me from giving this toy 5 stars for its great transformation, solid feel and amazing poseability (especially compared to the original)
The images show both robot and vehicle mode (Earth Helicopter). The image of the robot mode shows that Megatron has decent articulation, but unlike the Leader Class version, his cannon cannot be attached to his forearm.

Seibertron.com Reviews Soon To Be Released Glu Mobile 'Tranformers: G1 Awakening' Game Thanks to staff member Stormrider, I was given the chance to make contact with a member of Glu mobile;#x2019;s PR staff, and was able to play a demo of the soon to be released ;#x2018;Transformers: G1 Awakening;#x2019; game for cellular phones. Glu Mobile was very kind and even sent me a compatible phone loaded with the game to play, as they do not currently have a version available for the iPhone.
I was able to spend about a week with the game, wasting many precious hours, staying up until the wee early hours of the morning as I played the addicting game, and tried to experience as much of it as I could before I had to send the demo back....
First off we have Stealth, err, Goldbug... I mean ELITE GUARD BUMBLEBEE by Tamo536. Straight up repaint of the Original Animated Bumblebee, but according to the reviewer the 'stingers' are now able to better fit into the arms...
And also a huge picture montage courtesy of the Japanese Transformers Image Board showing Sentinel in package, with other Elite Guard members, and with the Headmaster unit firmly placed on his shoulders.
Everybody should want to get Sentinel as soon as they can...
"Move bots or you'll have to do more transform ups!!!"
